visual novel in the Case of Catbox
made for worst visual novel ever contest
i spent the better part of last year making a good visual novel that does not ever mention a catbox so i made this to make up for it.
EDIT: added web build so you don't have to waste disk space downloading this. Also realized theres a bug so that a chunk of the ending actually gets skipped entirely WHOOPS well I guess that does make it a Worse VN but now it may be too short, sorry
FEATURES:
-100% authentic typos
-yes this is literally what my first drafts look like before i edit them
-1 background i probably put too much effort into to consider "shitty"
-nonsensical plot
ACCESSIBILITY:
-only renpy's default accessibility menu
-due to astronomical number of typos, self-voicing mode is not recommended
-also very dyslexia-unfriendly sorry
-no audio or visual effects

(mumbles) how did the menu buttons persist into the about page...
I love the Watson lore dump and the entire time they did not look at each other which idk is a bug or a feature.
The choice was really gripping at the end... I got the boxed ending. u_u

the menu thing was on purpose though. to recreate it just put "xoffset 500" in your navigation screen B)
